I keep this simple, because that's how I do everything. This page explains what information this website collects, what I do with it, and what I will never do with it.

What I collect. If you fill out the contact form or book an appointment, you're sharing what you type: your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, and your message or the meeting details. Like most websites, this site also collects some technical information automatically — things like browser type and pages visited — through cookies used by Wix, the platform that hosts this site. Please don't enter your Medicare number, Social Security number, or health details anywhere on this site; we'll cover anything like that privately, when we talk.

How I use it. I use your information to respond to you, to help you with the things you asked about, and — if you gave permission on the contact form — to follow up with you about Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, or Medicare Supplement insurance. That's it.

What I never do. I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or share it with marketers. I don't send spam, and anyone can come off my contact list just by asking.

Who else touches your information. This site runs on services that process data to do their jobs: Wix (website and forms), Calendly (appointment scheduling), and YouTube (the videos on the Learn page). Each has its own privacy policy. Beyond that, I share your information only when you ask me to — for example, with an insurance company when you choose to apply for coverage — or when the law requires it.

Your choices. You can ask me anytime what information I have from you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can withdraw your permission to be contacted whenever you like. One message does it: call or text (801) 499-0953 or email heather @ heathermickey.com.

How I protect it. I take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and I keep it only as long as I need it to help you or as the law requires. No website can promise perfect security, so please save sensitive numbers for our conversations, not online forms.

Children. This site is meant for adults and isn't directed to anyone under 18.

Changes. If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
